02 Before you write

  • If a generated name is rejected by a game, it is almost always the game's own character filter rather than a fault here — try a style marked as high compatibility, or use fewer symbols.
  • If a style renders as empty boxes, your device is missing the font for those characters. The same name will usually look correct on another phone.
  • Renaming inside a game may need an in-game card or item. That is handled by the publisher, not by this site.
